TYRES

In accordance with the highly specific climate and road conditions (snow and ice covered roads) special tyres must be used.
In the FIA Classification (2nd round of the International Cup for Cross-Country Bajas) participants can choose between the two options:
1 (This option is highly recommended by the Organiser, since it provides equal conditions for all competitors and gives you more chances for a high result, as well as guarantees much better grip (and hence better safety) on slippery icy roads) - Tyres Michelin 7.50 R16 116N C 4X4 O/R XZ or 205/80 R16 104Q REINFORCED 4X4 O/R XZL, studded with studs WT20 under the license issued by Dackproffsen. They can be acquired in the "Uspenskiy Rally Tecnica" company upon an advance order.
To order the tyres, it's necessary to get in touch with the supplier's representative Denis Kirsanov until January 26th 2010, using the following contact details: +7 (495) 258-9800 ext. 5597. E-mail:

Basing on its 2009 experience, "Uspenskiy Rally Tecnica" (Moscow) has prepared for the 2010 season two new tyre models, which are already in stock. However, studding is done only upon advance order. It is connected with the fact that this project is unique - Russia is the only country where a rally-raid on the snow and ice surface is held.
